Nice jacket. I wish it had ability for zip in vest is only demerit

GREAT, DURABLE, HEAVY DUTY SHELL JACKET

bombproof and very durable. held up well with lots of use in variable conditions. zipper issues need to be addressed by Marmot for redesign.

Zippers Barely Work

I've used this jacket for 2 months. I'm bummed as had I known that it would continue to have zipper problems, I would have returned it immediately. The main zipper catches, or sticks, constantly. Particularly unless the track is perfectly aligned & you carefully make sure the track is aligned straight-which id difficult to do while skiing. I have been stuck at the top of mountains, on lifts in the wind, and not been able to zip up the jacket. It basically makes the jacket really, really difficult to use. It's a shame. I am sending it in for warranty and hope they replace it with something that works.

Terrific Ski Jacket

Terrific ski jacket that is warm and comfortable in a wide range of conditions. The hood offers superior protection against the elements when the wind is howling.

Men’s Freerider fit and feel

Great jacket. Fit is just right for my size. I’m older and not as fit and trim as I used to be. The fit allows for layers or wearing just the jacket. The material is soft and has a nice feel to it. Too many similar jackets are stiff and the material feels cheap.

Perfect alpine shell

Love how breathable and waterproof this shell is. I also like the color (red, which is an orangey-red) and material. Pockets are great for accessing my pack while touring. I especially like not having Velcro at the neck to stick to my under layers or helmet strap. Very happy with this purchase.
