Warm, but runs big.
Warm, but runs big. A large was a little too big and a medium was a little too small for me. Stuck with the large, got it for a good price so I think it was a good value for the money.

Light as a feather, but cozy warm
I have three of these in different colors. One in size medium for an oversized option and two smalls which fit beautifully (I’m a female- 5’ 7”, 130 lbs.) The jackets are a nice topper for layering in cold weather and can be worn by themselves in shoulder seasons. I like that Marmot does a more boxy fit than other brands. I’m a slim person but like a jacket to fall over my hips, not hug them.

All-around terrific
High quality, lightweight and packable, glasses pocket and a down hood. Color is awesome, size is perfect. I even commented on the CNN site that it should have been included in their down jacket reviews. Love this jacket…

Hood needs a cinch
Hood needs a cinch. Walking into or facing a headwind the hood becomes utterly useless and acts as a giant wind catch. I would never trust this in the backcountry.

Love the Hood
I purchased another Marmot down jacket a couple years ago and have been loving it. The only thing I thought could make it better would be a hood. When I saw this one on sale for half off, I couldn't resist.
