Excellent coat. Zipper is a bit tricky since it is small and a double one.

Marmot Mens Warm-Cube, unbeatable!
The warm cube mens puff is an extraordinary jacket that is recommended for extreme temps. Perfect for high altitude camp or during stops while ascending those favorite climbs. Too bad this is a last of its kind. I’m curious what will replace it besides the 8000m Marmot suit.

Like it so much that I bought 2 but it needs mods
This thing kept me warm up Cayambe in 15F temps after the freezing rain turned to snow. It has kept me toasty in blizzards while I belay my partner up frigid pitches of rock and ice. Putting it on feels like wearing a suit of armor. It's great if you're in one of those weird wet-but-freezing environments. By far, this is my favorite parka that I've tried, and I've demo'd a lot of them at various ice climbing festivals. By and large, other parkas are far more feature-rich but feel way less protective to me overall. Luckily, it is much easier to fix the feature problem than the protection problem. What's not to like? The biggest design changes to me (which I actually sewed onto or otherwise added to mine) are a waist cinch, softer wrist cuffs with thumb loops to make putting mitts on easier, and a removable fur ruff with a hood lifter. Additional changes I would make but are harder to DIY are a longer back side for rump warmth and a less finnicky zipper for easier operation with cold, gloved hands.

Incredibly warm
It is very lightweight but incredibly warm. Glad I bought a medium, they run slightly roomy.

Definitely Not Unisex
Ladies! This jacket is marked as unisex, it most definitely is not. For a given hip size, the shoulders are comically large; this jacket is really just built to be a men's jacket. However, it is a beautiful jacket and seems very warm, I would love to see an actual women's version.

Nice job Marmot!
This is a solid winter performer. No worries about being on exposed high peaks ridges Summits. Handles the coldest NH White mountain winter backpacking. Could it be made better by making the interior pockets, larger and a bit beefier zipper, sure, but now we’re getting picky. Love the generous cut, fits well over other layers when backpacking at elevation during this cold nights eating a late dinner and chilling with some hot cocoa before bed! A true puffy to rule them all. Have the Mt Tyndall puffy which is awesome, hard to beat it but you did, better shell and warm cube cuddles around you like little pillows of warmth.

A cocoon of warmth and comfort
I bought this jacket this year because I’m moving to Iowa. I did a lot of research into jackets that could withstand Iowa’s coldest of winters and discovered warmcube. It’s got to be the warmest jacket I’ve ever worn. It just immediately begins to heat you up with the little warmcube tufts that use your own body heat to keep you warm. I want to get all of the warmcube jackets down the line and they’re definitely worth the price point. I feel like this would save my life in Iowa in a winter storm if I got locked out of my house or car somehow. I will always keep this with me when I’m out of the house in the winter.
