1st time disappointment with a Marmot purchase
This is my 8th Marmot jacket that I have bought in the past 5-6 years and it's the first time I have been disappointed. How can you expect me to make the most of the hood if it doesn't even have a drawstring around the perimeter of my face. In addtion, the neck of the jacket is not snug. I was expecting to end up with a Marmot quality, extra warm jacket, but this is not going to cut it.

Way Better than the NF McMurdo
I haven't bought a Marmot in 16 years and finally decided to buy a new Yukon. The Yukon 2 are amazing. Super warm and lightweight at just over two pounds, compared to McMurdo which is over 3lbs. Sizing is true for a Large, for a person who is 5'9 and 44 chest. Color is black and looks shiny and new. I can easily wear a hoodie underneath without feeling stuffed. The hood comes off like my old one and the faux fur is unqiue and soft. Lastly, i love the buttons on this, they are slightly hard to open but because you need to snap and twist them off, not pull. Regardless, these are better than velcro because they rip apart the fabric of my beanies and gloves. Just wish it had the Marmot logo stitched on the hand warmer pocket like my old one.

Very versatile coat.
seal cold and keeps neck and spine warm. Very smooth zipper doesn't snag material goes all the way up past chin keeping neck and spin warm. Plenty of pockets 6 total, chest and waist with Velcro closure's pockets between. plus an inside zipper pocket. Has Velcro chin tabs for tighter fit bringing hood and fur to ears and face area. Down is very warm. Does not have pull strings for leg fit but, still tight fitting bottom of coat to deflect wind.

What no 2 way
Like jacket very much but not having a 2 way zipper is disappointing. In addition on your website it says it does. I checked it before ordering. I like everything else about the jacket.

Disappointing
Thinner than expected. For a down coat this expensive, I expected it to be thicker/warmer. The snaps are designed terribly. They look cool, but require so much force to unsnap you feel like you’re going to rip the coat material. Also, I ordered the black coat and the color is actually a very dark blue.
