Great rain jacket over work clothes

Bought this jacket a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT! The material is soft, but waterproof and the fit is "perfect Marmot". I am a curvy girl and love the way Marmot understands that with their women's clothing!

Best Jacket Ever!

I am 180 lbs and 5’7”, 36DDD, the XL fits me perfect with a little extra room to wear thicker clothing. Love this jacket! It is very flattering and I get a lot of compliments! Excellent quality!

Keeps you dry, though stays wet

I'm 5'5'', 135 lbs, usually wear a size S top. But for jackets I always size up to M to make sure I can layer with ease underneath. I chose this jacket in search of a longer length (but not full trench) rain shell or jacket. While the outermost layer is not Gore-Tex, like a lot of rain and snow shells, it does it's job keeping your layers underneath dry. However, the jacket itself will get wet. The morning after a wet, muddy hike the brim of the hood was still soaked in places. Many have a problem with the size of the hood but it is perfect for using with a ball cap or a stocking hat underneath, which is what I'm wearing on a rainy day anyway. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a reasonable priced longer rain jacket, without upgrading entirely to a pricey rain or snow shell.

Perfect mid-weight raincoat

This is a great slightly-fitted rainproof coat, mid-weight, with functional yet fashionable touches, like the angled sleeves and the kick pleat in back. The dark orange is just right, and the hood is perfect for me too. I am very pleased with it.

Disappointed!

The colors are not true. Very disappointed! Fit was okay but I couldn’t get over the rust color for red.

Worth the wait

I purchased this jacket after trying on an earlier model from a friend. So happy for the purchase! Perfect weight, great for layering, love the longer tail in back and sleeve features! Especially love the separate neck vs hood. Would love a strip of fabric to cover the exterior zipper.
