Product details
Web ID: 318193Absolute waste of money
I bought this pot a month ago and only used it ONCE. After I made some soup stock in it, I washed it and left it to dry. Forget the rust spots (which it did have after just a single use), the pot completely cracked at the rim! As I was leaving it out to dry, I heard a loud sound (sounded like someone took the pot and banged it against the counter). When I checked the pot, it was still drying but I noticed that it had bent a little and was cracked on the edge. I have never seen anything like this happen to any of my other pots. It cracked on its own somehow?? Cheap stainless steel! I'm going to check on the warranty on this item to make sure I could get my money back or a replacement. Stay away from this pot!
Big enough to make all kind of delicious soups
It make my creation is cooked quickly and evenly, wide-banded stainless steel and glass lid let me monitor contents I use it to make gourmet food for my families and friends.
Perfect Pot
I have used this pot several times for quarts of soup (easily holds two 6 lb chickens plus), corned beef and more. It cooks evenly, cleans beautifully. I don't have rust spots or any problems. I wash all cookware soon after using it and towel dry, then allow to finish air drying so that there is no moisture before putting away. Martha never disappoints.
Happy Birthday?
So sad so sad. I got this pot for my birthday, I was really excited to use it. I washed it before use, as directed. After i had made dinner (pasta) i noticed that the bottom had developed rust spots i was NOT HAPPY. What is it going to look like in a few months??! No thank you. I will be taking this back. Sad.
Great Size, cooks very evenly!
This pot is a great size, big enough to make a BIG pot of soup (or I've used mine for cooking jams and jellies before canning) yet is is small enough that I can still fit it in my sink to wash it easily. I have had mine for over 6 months, using it pretty regularly and never had any problems with burning, sticking, or rust spots. However, I do take good care to rinse and/or wash it within 24 hours of using it, especially if I'm cooking something acidic (like tomatoes or tart cherries)
Cheap source of iron
Loved the glass lid and seal but my 20 quart stock pot developed 20-30 rust spots on the interior after just one use. Either VERY low grade stainless or poor manufacturing process. Regardless, it is one of the few items I have ever returned. (Spent the extra money and purchased an All-Clad multi-cooker gourmet cookware upon advice of sales clerk.)
Great pot for induction cooking.
I recently purchased a new induction cooktop and my pots and pans did not work because their bottoms were not magnetic. Martha Stewart Collection Cooking pot botton was magnetic, at a good price, and perfect for my induction cooktop.
Outstanding quality for the price. Heavy duty bottom for even heating. Great size for making pasta sauce.
