It's thinner and more flimsier than my old porcelain of the similar design. I still prefer my owl porcelain grater to this Martha Stewart one, and would not have bought it if I was at the store.

not practical! bad design ! do not buy this product. it dies not have any grater. just a rough surface !

Not practical

Impractical and useless kitchen gadget. not sharp enough to grate and no way to transfer it over afterwards since there no holes on the other side.

Works well. Great for grinding ginger and garlic. Easy to clean and store.

Works SO well

Works so well to finely grate ginger, garlic and tumeric root. I was expecting to hate this, but I love it! Grated food scrapes off easily, and is easy to wash. So much easier than a microplane, garlic press or crusher, and mincing with a knife. I wish I found this gadget sooner.
