Not as nice as pictured

The top of the jar was extremely hard to force on. I’m wondering if this will be usable. Also the bottom was rough and scratched my table while I was trying to put it together. Wish that I could return it.

This is just such a gorgeous cookie jar. It is very roomy so it can hold a bunch. I know it's for Christmas but i would like to leave it out year round!
