Martha Stewart Cutting Boards
cutting boards... love that prevents sliding and slippage when cutting
so far so good!
I like the no-slip edges, and so far after a few uses they have held up well despite the other reviews that they come loose. The wood is nice and thick but not overly heavy.
Best
Two for the price of one. Gave one to my sister. Need to order another set so we both can have two.
Cutting Board
I like the grips. They’re nice cutting boards. Not much to say about a cutting board except I like the 2 sizes
Ideal Size and looks for my Kitchen
The bigger one is exactly the right size for me to grab and use on a daily basis. I can grab it with one hand, and it's big enough to chop the entire food item. I do a lot of chopping as I eat a plant-based diet, and that means a lot of prepping food to go for me. Plant based diets aren't supported by the food industry in the US yet, especially the fast food industry. The smaller cutting board I gave to charity. I sometimes wash by hand, sometimes in the dishwasher. I've had it for going on 3 years, and it is breaking apart at the wood seams in the middle of the board enough so that I want to buy another one. That's what prompted me to write this review. The feet come off pretty quickly, which is fine with me. I plan to buy this exact one again. Granted it would be nice if we had better quality products, but I find it attractive, and the price is right when it's on steep sale, and I don't enjoy shopping for kitchen items, so I'm glad they still carry it. I recommend it too.
Perfect Answer
I ordered my cutting boards to keep on my counter top to protect the top when I have hot and cold dishes or cookware. They are perfect and looks good on the counter.
Room for improvement
Thought these would be great cutting boards. They do look very nice, and the rubber corners are great at preventing slipping. However, the rubber corners are already starting to fall off after only a few months of gentle use and hand washing. The other thing to consider is that there are no grooves along the edges to catch drippings if you happen to be using them to cut up anything juicy. Not the worst cutting boards in the world, but I would probably not purchase them again, as there are other better options out there.
