Surprising improvement over "common" peelers!

This veggie peeler is remarkably better than the run-of-the-mill peelers I've previously had. I got tired of putting up with the common peelers I'd previously bought off the cheap utensil racks in other stores. They'd seem drag after a while like they were getting dull. Sometimes they'd actually bend out of shape. So I figured it was time to finally try a quality peeler. Suprise! It's great. Hard to describe how smooth it peels compared to the common peeler. It passes over the veggie surface when peeling that at first I kept checking to make sure it wasn't just skipping over. Nope, it's really peeling, but it has very little drag or skip while doing it. This also is safer to use - no more peeled knuckles.

Efficiency at its best!

I don’t know whatever possessed me to believe that my old kitchen peeler would last forever. My old peeler was so difficult to use that it took forever to complete a task. This new straight peeler is so sturdy and sharp that it makes peeling vegetables a breeze!

Heavy but good

Very useful, but heavy for a small hand. Still, much better than any others I have used.

Great Peeler

Love Martha Stewart kitchen tools, they are well made sturdy and designed to work easily. We replac d a very old well used peeler with this one and love the comfort of the handle and thrilled with the way it works. Have arthritis real bad in my hands and peeling potatoes can be very painful. This makes it a breeze.

Good!

It does it’s job. If you’re paying full price, it’s not worth the price but if you get it on sale, I think it’s worth it. Not super high quality but I hope it lasts a while.
