Nicer in picture

I wanted a luxurious look when I ordered this quilt. As soon as I saw and felt it, I knew it would be returned. As others said, the color is dull and brownish, not the golden satiny sheen in the picture. The texture was one of a slippery nylon feel. It reminded me of sleeping bag material. Sadly, it went back.

Nice comforter but truly more brown than GOLD.

It is pretty, but it id brown. I purchased to go with the Terra Hotel Collection bedding and it is very off. The bedding has a hint of gold. It is pretty, but if you are looking for gold, grey combo, skip it.

Thought I knew better!

Thought I knew better and didn't listen to other reviewers! Color is NOT as depicted, definitely not the bright gold just solid grey/brown. Returned next day, don't make the same mistake!

Color no go

Arrived today & was a bit sad to see that is it not really a gold color, more like a dull taupe. Not like description (GOLD) & picture. Expected a brighter tone & more sheen. It is very soft, good quality, fits a full sized bed very nicely. Waited a long time to select a new cover so a tad disappointed & very likely will return. The weight is good, not skimpy or cheap. Just a very dull shade of tan. Blends in to the point of being blah. SORRY! Otherwise, nice. Would keep if gold like pics.

off color

The color shown is not what actually arrives. The gold is more a dull brownish hue, not at all pleasant.

Best Comforter

This is by far the best comforter I've ever owned. It's soft (silky material), elegant, and lightweight. I was looking for a comforter for the summer days and this was perfect. I bought it in grey and it looks beautiful!
