Holds up really well

My two boys love playing with this helicopter. I cant tell you how many times this thing has crashed and is still going strong. Spiderman spins as the blades do and my kids think its hilarious. It is a little loud so maybe the fact that the battery only last about 10 minutes saves my sanity. Its rechargeable so my kids just plug it in and play with it every hour.

Flying Spider-Man

My son loves these kind of toys. It was hard to control. It would go too far up and then fall. I was afraid that the propellers would break off. I’m glad that it came with an extra set of propellers just in case. It was not too noisy, the noise level was just as expected. I do feel that this toy may not last too long. All it takes is for it to crash into the wrong thing, and then it’s done for.

Super Soaring Spider-Man!

Let me first acknowledge that this came in a well designed box along with a note from the manufacturer which I truly appreciate the time and effort that was put into this packaging. Okay on to the toy itself- Wow this toy is amazing! As soon as I opened the box my boys could not wait to take it out and make it fly! ( it does require 6 AA batteries that are not included in order to use the controller, Spider-Man hooks up to a usb cable to charge which is included ) This Spider-Man has some serious power!! It flies several feet in the air and the helicopter propels super fast! It also has two preprogrammed Spider-Man voices! The voices are legible and loud enough to hear! The helicopter makes a whirring noise but that’s because of the robust power it has to fly. While this was easy to assemble and put together, I would definitely recommend adult supervision as it is incredibly fast and the helicopter is strong! Spider-Man is fragile so I would also recommend flying him somewhere with a soft landing, after my boys flying him a couple times, his arm fell off. The plastic is rather weak on the actual toy itself. Overall, I think it’s a great little gadget and for some a possible collectors item! I do not foresee this lasting a long period of time due to the weakness of the plastics.

Practice makes perfect

My nine year old son was excited to try the Spider-Man two channeling figure infrared helicopter since it’s recommended for ages eight and up. The Spider-Man figure itself feels very lightweight and made of thin plastic at first, which makes it seem a little cheap, but I assume that helps it stay light enough to fly properly. The instructions were very basic and didn’t explain everything well for example there is a trim knob on the controller, and we weren’t exactly sure what it was for. The remote requires quite a few batteries (6 AA) but charging the Spider-Man itself was simple. The hardest part was learning how to control the flying. It definitely takes practice to get the right speed for takeoff and a smooth landing, which causes a little frustration at first for my nine year old. When trying left and right turns it mostly cause Spider-Man to spin rather than smoothly change direction. Overall, once you get the hang of controls, it’s a fun toy, and it would be great for indoor play, especially on a rainy day when kids need something entertaining to do. I would recommend it for older kids who enjoy practicing with interactive flying toys.

Company needs to update the product

Sadly I had to leave a note so great review because my product was broken. Part of the wing at the top was broken so he couldn’t fly and his one arm broke off in the package. Sadly it doesn’t look like this product was made well at all. It’s a very cheap plastic and super lightweight. I don’t know how long it would have lasted if I was able to use it. My daughter was excited because it looks great in the package and I’m sure it would be fun to play with but we couldn’t use ours. Hope they fix these issues because I would try it again.

Fun flying toy!

My daughter LOVED this toy so much! Spiderman is her favorite superhero. This thing also flies super high once out of the box and it needs six batteries. The whole family was playing with this toy by the end. Definitely a fun toy!

Not the best. Skip this one.

I truly wanted to love this thing. My son loves Spider-Man and anything remote control that flies so I figured this would be perfect for him. It IS very cool looking! That’s about it though. It’s almost impossible to keep in the air for longer than 30 seconds. It crashes constantly, and my son does know how to operate these types of things. Even his dad had the same problems with it. Also it’s impossible to stand on its own, it has to lay down. Didn’t really have any trouble with the battery life bc we could barely even use it for an extended period of time. So I would say no to this if given the option in the future just bc it simply doesn’t work as it should. It needs many improvements.
