Very cute book!

I got this book a couple of months ago, and I loved it! It is so cute, and the love for learning that Matilda has is inspiring. Very nice children's book.

Charming, exaggerated story, young readers love!

This is a charming, but exaggerated, story about Matilda, a bright, polite, precocious little girl whose horrible parents completely ignore her. She takes care of herself, and, at age 4, teaches herself to read. When no one will take her to the library, she walks there by herself, and meets a kind, helpful librarian who recognizes Matilda's potential. As she grows, Matilda learns how to get clever and subtle revenge on people who slight her. When her parents finally allow her to go to school, Matilda meets Miss Honey, the teacher who will change her life. The book is fun, crazy, and totally illogical. Young readers will love it!
