snaggy not smooth-y

I love the classic scent of this shampoo and hadn't used it for years -- would give 3 stars for the scent alone. However, it is not "smoothing." Makes my fine, wavy hair even more frizzy and flyaway in my desert winter climate. I wonder if the regular Biolage would've worked better.
