Plastic Lenses VS Glass Lenses

Swaying Palms is my 8th pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses and they are beautiful! Please disregard comments about people complaining they are too heavy as MOST Sunglasses out there have cheap PLASTIC lenses and there are plenty out there where people want lightweight cheap goods. When I want true quality in Sunglasses I want GLASS LENSES not plastic. Bravo Maui Jim! You make the best!

Pretty but too heavy for my face!

First, I’d like to say these are very pretty and fit a medium sized face nicely without looking oversized. But they are incredibly heavy! I did not expect them to be featherweight, but never expected them to be as heavy as they are. After 10 mins I had a splitting headache from the weight on my nose. I ended up exchanging for Beaches and eagerly await my new pair (fast returns and great customer service)! These are not all-day wear glasses but might work for you if you only plan to wear them for short periods of time. Sad because they really are so pretty! If you are prone to headaches, perhaps look for a lighter weight option.

Love these so much!! They are heavier then my other sunglasses but I don’t feel like they are too heavy.

I absolutely love them!! After reading reviews I was worried they would be to big or fall down, but they were a perfect fit for me! If you’re questioning it, buy them! If they don’t work, it’s returnable. This is my 2nd pair of Maui Jim’s and definitely my favorite!!

Regret Ordering

I love the look of the glasses but they run just a tad bit big and are heavy and do slide down your nose

Too Heavy

I love the look of these. Unfortunately, for me, they are just too heavy for my face and keep slipping down my nose and when I look down they slip as well. Even after they were adjusted.

Beautiful glasses, they are solid, not heavy, but do run a bit on the large size. Still love them!
