Rear facing only

I am a car seat tech and had this seat come to me to be checked. From the door everything looked good, removed the seat from the base and saw the green indictors and thought nice they did a good install. Pulled on the seat not very hard and the locking lever popped open. The indicators still remained green. Most seats with a lock off go from red to green when the locking mechanism is fully engaged, not the presence of the belt which does not require much force to trigger green. I reinstalled it myself and saw green and again the lever wasn't locking into place. This seems like a poor design that can give a potential false indication that everything is good. Secondary the family thought it was a rotational seat that can go forward facing which in my head I am thinking no because it is a infant seat but after looking at the marketing and the use of 180 I can see how parents might think this is a rotational seat like others on the market

Cool idea bad execution

Cool concept but it really isn’t safe and seems to be made cheap. We’ve used the car seat and base combo for less than a month and the rotating portion won’t lock in position at all anymore. It just hangs up at the locking point but in event of a crash or someone simply bumping the car seat it spins freely.

Awesome Car Seat

I received the Peri car seat as part of a product testing program with Dorel. This is a great lightweight and easy to use car seat. Very easy to install as well. Imagine not bending into your car the entire time your buckling them in? The swivel seat is a must. High quality all the way around!

Great car seat with luxury touches

I received the Peri car seat as part of a product testing program with Dorel. Amazing quality and ease of use! It is easy to clip and unclip the car seat from the base and I feel confident the base is installed correctly because of the red-green indicators on the base. I love the ease of clipping and unclipping the seat from the stroller as well, makes quick trips a breeze! Favorite feature is the additional pull down sun shade build into the normal shade. Its always attached and helps to prolong naps without having to make sure I have a blanket or something else to provide additional shade. Luxury materials like the leather handle and plush seat. And the ability to rotate the seat is great for taking baby out of the car seat when out and about. Overall great car seat!

Good concept. Not easy to use.

I received the Peri car seat as part of a product testing program with Dorel. I had trouble installing, straps were slippery so hard to fully tighten, and color showed dirt too easy.

Great light weight infant car seat with rotating base

I received the Peri car seat as part of a product testing program with Dorel. Great lightweight car seat. The rotating base is a great feature, especially if you keep the car seat in the car for the majority of the time. The colors and materials are very nice. I really like the extended shade option. This is great for naps and weather when out and about.
