That’s why they’re plastic!

Our five year old granddaughter, who lives 2,086 miles away, loved it. “It’s a tea party!” she exclaimed, and she began identifying each piece as she took it out, arranging them all around the counter, but then bumped one off in the process. “Oopsie!” (That’s why they’re plastic!) We’ll take something a bit fancier than t-shirts to wear when we go visit her next month and she can wear her fancy dress when we have our tea party with her. But soon, as our video visit continued, she was building a tower with the cups and saucers….

Disappointed birthday girl.

Our birthday girl loved her tea set but was disappointed that there were no plates included for her tea cookies. 4 small plastic plates would have made a perfect tea set.
