Wood pieces not sturdy enough, fall over easily

I like the wood pieces but the various pieces do not stand well on their own and with children you need a sturdy base for each figure to allow it to stand without it falling over. All it takes is one touch and they all fall over like dominoes. I would have given it more stars just for more sturdy pieces. Also would be nice if this came with a cover for when you put it away for storage. Its comes in the nice flat box but needs a cover to contain it all. Lots of improvements can be made on this.

Would not purchase

I purchased this nativity set today for my grandson. When putting it together, the roofing piece does not fit into the side pieces of the manger. The cutouts for the tabs are not lined up correctly. Very disappointing.

Returning pieces to base

It would be helpful to have a top piece to cover the pieces. The picture shows the people/animals fitting in the base but what about the roof & sides? A sequential video would be helpful. How in the world do you get all the pieces back in the base flush with sides?

I would buy this product again.

We are using the set to tell the Nativity story. 2 things that would be great are: 1) make the stable roof flat or provide a place for the angel. My son keeps trying to put the angel on top. 2) Create an add-on set with cattle, sheep, and donkeys. I would be willing to buy the extra pieces. Other than those 2 things, we are pleased with our purchase.

Beautiful Wooden Nativity Set

I bought this for my 3 year old Grandaughter. Her mother and I love it. Now she can play with it during the Christmas season without worrying about it breaking.

This is a must-have for families with little children!

I looked long and hard for a Nativity scene that was colorful, sturdy, and realistic-looking. This one is perfect! Young children can play with it, learn through it, and it's indestructible. I highly recommend this! The characters and stable are beautifully made!

Sturdy Nativity for Little Ones to Play with.

Very sturdy wooden Nativity figures. Stable is easy to put together but not nearly as sturdy as the wooden figures. Nice for all the little ones to play with and explore. Disappointed that the characters are only painted on one side except for baby Jesus. Would have given 5 stars if the characters were painted on both sides.
