Neat idea, but pancake velcro fell off

Bought this for our daughter, who enjoys it, but right out of the package, one of the pancake's center velcro fell off, making it not possible to stick the butter, or any of the toppings on it. We keep trying to glue it back on, to no avail.

Not oven safe?

Package says it is "not for use" in oven even though pans are metal. Bought this thinking my 4yr old could use this to actually bake her own tiny muffins but apparently this is for pretend-only?

I would recommend this product.
