Surprisingly disappointing

While these are cute looking puppets, on closer examination the fabric is thin near many of the seams of the puppets. It's as if the stitching is pulling away and the fabric is bare. An appearance like that should be after years of use not brand new out of the packaging. Also the areas for your fingers in the puppets arms and the head are rather small. I now these are designed for little children's hands but I think even for them they don't allow for a comfortable fit and play. My almost 5 year old granddaughter was not that engaged and the 2 year old didn't know what to do with them. The baby just put them in her mouth as expected. I think they will play with them but the wear on the fabric particularly is surprisingly disappointing. I would not have bought them had I seen these in person.

Purchased for my niece - she’s only three months yet she would follow the puppets around by moving her head towards the direction I was moving them to. If the parent has bigger hands they might not fit well.
