Needs to be in direct sunlight to work
Bought this puzzle for my almost 3 year old granddaughter who loves miss Rachel. It is very nice but the need to have it activated by direct light to work is very frustrating and confusing to little ones. I wasn't aware when I purchased it.

Peeling Pictures
Very cute puzzle, but I was disappointed that the pieces were not painted, like every other Mellisa and Doug puzzle. The design was printed on paper, and pasted on the wooden shape. Our baby promptly popped them in her mouth, and soon the paper picture started peeling off.

I bought this for my grand daughter who loves Miss Rachael, I just haven’t to her for Christmas and it doesn’t work ! Sometimes it will sing a song then it doesn’t ! Think it’s defected .

My kid is very sad her brand new puzzle doesn’t work! There is no noise!! Waist of money don’t buy

Just a quick note about our sound puzzles: they’re light-activated, so once you’ve installed fresh batteries, it’s best to use the puzzle in a well-lit room. When you lift a piece off the board, you’ll notice a little circle, which is the light sensor. You will hear the sound when the piece is removed from the board and the sensor is exposed to light.
