We love it. Its durable which is a must with my 2 yr old. Also very happy that we can use our other M&D vehiles on the tracks even though there bigger than the ones included. # morewaystoplay

I work with children on the spectrum and this has been a huge hit. They love the little town and the fact that there is multiple paths to drive on. My only complaint is that it's a bit heavy for the kiddos who are independent and want to carry it themselves. Also, a personal improvement would be to have little cut outs for the accessories to go, so that we know they are in the correct place. A lot of the kids get frustrated when they slide out of place so easily. All and all... worth the money and so much fun for functional play!

My 17 month old son loves this! It encourages him to be creative with his play. I love how it is easy to close up and store. Lesser chance for my son to lose the pieces somewhere. Great toy! Highly recommend!

My grandson loves this train set. He spends hours playing with it.

My granddaughter is 27 months now and first used this when she was 25 months. It's not the type of toy you can expect to leave a young child all alone to play happily by themselves, but what toy is? We spend many happy hours playing with this toy, running the trains along the tracks, finding a pond for the ducks, finding water for the deer, planting the trees, and moving the tram cars over the mountains, etc. Great imaginative toy!

This toy was purchased just to have something new, not for travel. The grandsons (7 and almost 3) thought it great fun the first few times they set it up. But once it was up, only the 3 year old messed around with it and only briefly. This is because the travel feature means the set up area - which is great - is too small to really fit all the stuff on and then have room to move around on it. Since I knew it was a travel set when I bought it - I now see that I needed to check the dimensions better. The set is exactly what it's supposed to be, just so far has limited playability for us.

Normally love Melissa & Doug's products. However, this train set did not live up to expectations. Got this for my 3-year-old grandson and it just does not work properly. The house, train station, bridge, etc. do not stay in place...it is hard to find appropriate place to put them and then you have to place them very carefully so they do not go on the tracks....and they still get moved every time he runs the train on the track. And, speaking of the train...it does not stay on the tracks so is very frustrating for a toddler. All in all, I am very disappointed. This set is a cute idea, but it does not function properly.
