I would purchase this product again.

My grandchild loves playing with this product. I like the different size slots for mail so there is some thought involved.

I am concerned about damage if I order products again

My mailbox was cracked when I received it so I could not use it as the gift I needed. I think it's a cute product. But was disappointed that it was damaged. I didn't return because I lost my paperwork.

No handle?

There's no handle on the door. I don't know many toddlers that could open the door by gripping around the lock and pulling it, because it's difficult for me as a 30 year old man. After a few minutes of "open please (he pushes it closed) open please (he pushes it closed." I started getting pretty annoyed especially after one time i bent my fingernail back. Now when he brings the toy over I think to myself "please pick something else, anything else." The M&D product I would not reccomend even though I like everything else about it. My so likes it, but he'd like to be able to open it himself

Shipped Quick, Kids loved it

Sent it to my 3 year old nephew on his b-day. Got there quickly and he and his cousins (both boys and girls) loved it. Parents enjoyed hand-delivered mail straight from the postman.

One of their favorites!

I bought Melissa and Doug's Stamp and Sort Mailbox almost four years ago when our granddaughter was almost three. She loved it and played with it for several years. Now our grandson who is almost four is playing with it. When I am visiting, we always play 'Let's Deliver the Mail". The postage is velcroed on and the kids love opening the bottom door to retrieve the wooden postcards and letters they've mailed. It has been played with for four years now and looks almost new - very durable. I would highly recommend the Stamp and Sort Mailbox for anyone looking for a gift for a child in this age group.
