Thin but very pretty patterns in the fabric. If you're looking to keep warm, you might wanna go thicker but it's a really nice one for church or nice events.

Nice light cardigan for layering

This is a nice basic for the wardrobe and very lightweight. I love that I can wear it into the classroom over a sleeveless top and it's not bulky or heavy.

Elegant looking.....

Although I have not yet worn it...only just arrived I am so far, satisfied that the item fits the description. It is lightweiight, and fits below the hip (I am 5'3/ 200 lbs). The sleeves are a tad long, but can turn up to make a cuff. There is a noticible 'design' in the fabric which some may not like, but it does add a touch of 'elegancel' to what would otherwise be a plain black sweater. There are no buttons, but rather a bit of a different knit down the front opening . I ordered a 2XL following on my prior orders of a similar Karen Scott sweater (OH, how I miss that label!!). and the fit was on point around my torso...length was a bit more than I wanted in body and sleeves, but for some odd reason manufactuers assume that anyone needing an XL or XXL must have the arm lenght of a gorilla. Oh well! All in all, at the fantastice reduction in price I have a winner on my back!!! I live in a mild climate, so this will be perfect, it isn't designed for warmth if you need that feature!!!
