don't waste your money

I bought the bracelet. it just arrived. I paid the "sale price" of $857...and based on the current price of gold, that means Macy's lost money selling me this piece. And thats the reason macys earned the 1 star I'm giving. it weighs 12.7 grams. the weight alone tells me its solid gold but not 5.5mm. Based on my research, its too heavy to be a 3mm (even though the bracelet looks to be half the width of my 6mm wedding band,) but also too light to be a 5mm. I suspect it's a 4 maybe 4.5mm. Maybe they took enough suckers for the full price of $3,550 that they can afford to lose money on it. But anybody that does their research first, would've never paid that price. Also, there's nothing glittery about this rope. it's not even diamond cut plus, the links are not tight. and there's sections of the bracelet that doesn't look like a rope...but just loose links. I plan on returning the bracelet in person first chance I get. I just wanted to write this review 1st so nobody else gets taken.
