Extremely old-school vibes. Green, with pine notes, and woody base. The oak moss gives and earthy touch. The scent reminds me of outdoors and the tobacco softens the scent.

Classic fougère fragrance
Polo Green EDT is a timeless fougère with a bold barbershop character — rich, herbal, leathery, and oakmoss-heavy scent. Its striking green-and-gold presentation matches the fragrance’s commanding, old-world sophistication. Priced fairly for its legacy and performance, it delivers excellent projection and longevity. While undeniably mature and even “old-school” by today’s standards, in the right hands it reads not outdated but distinguished, commanding, and elegant.

Too vintage for me
A little too spicy. Definitely a classic scent for some. Feels like more of a winter/cold weather scent. I don’t hate it but it’s not my style. Traditional Ralph Lauren branding and packaging. Lasted for several hours.

This perfume is versatile, it has a great value for the price and the fragrance is strong and packing and ingredients are great as well. I would recommend 100%

Underrated
Polo Green is unapologetically old-school. A bold mix of pine, tobacco, and leather that feels a bit more like a relic than just a vintage. It’s deep, rich and full of nostalgia, but there’s no denying it smells like it belongs to another era. That’s not a bad thing, classics are classics for a reason, but if you’re after something fresher and more modern, this might feel a little 'too' timeless. Still, when the mood calls for tradition, Polo Green delivers. Try layering with some modern freshness over the top, a bit of citrus. Or even give it the bifters with some oud or leather?

My all time, 2 favorite colognes.
I'm always satisfied with my service through the years. I've been going to this Macy's for all of my 53yr on this earth, I started wearing in 1988 Fahrenheit was born, and 1978 polo was born when it came out I was 13yr old at that time.I was born in 1972 so my mother wanted her sons to smell good. So those were my first 2 columns, and it's been that way ever since.
