Walked on lava in Iceland

The shoes were perfect for my 8-day trip in Iceland where I walked over lots of solidified lava.

Moab3's ok but miss my Moab2's!

I have been buying Moab hikers for years and love them! These Moab3's are of the same great quality and fit but must admit I miss my Moab2's. I find the Moab3's with their "more supportive and stable midsole and revised insole" to be a much more harsh experience. The sole and rubber feels too hard and they are not as comfortable as the Moab2 for long walks on hard surfaces. Maybe they will loosen up over time but for now, I'm hunting for some new Moab2's.

Merrell Man

These shoes look and feel great - they’re sturdy, comfortable, and well-cushioned. I walk 8-20 miles a day so I need a good shoe, and Merrell delivers! The website advised going a half-size larger than normal and they fit perfectly. Love ‘em! Imma Merrell Man from now on …

Moab 3

The shoe is comfortable and provides me with a stable walking platform on rural and non-paved roads and walkways. It also appears to be a good insulator from water migration via seams, eyelets or stitching. The shoe is light on the feet and fits nicely in my inventory of walking products.

Hiking Hills

Bought these for a lighter option. Traveled the hills and cliffs of Normandy and Brittany after a very short break in hike. Great performance and comfort.

Well built and flexible

The Moab 3 is a solid hiking shoe . It is a continuation of the original popular design. Going half a size up works for me as it allows enough room for my feet to breathe. I can walk around with a confidence most shoes I’ve bought never gave me.
