Great for hiking
Second pair I’ve purchased for my adult son. He lives in Colorado, hikes the mountains and works outdoors. He loves them.

Working well for overpronation and flat feet.
I like Merrell shoes. I was looking specifically for a hiking shoe that would support my overpronating and very flat feet and that had good ankle support. The Moab 3 was in a list for such so I decided to give it a try. Another factor in my decision to try these was that they were available in my size...15! As you may imagine, not many shoes are. I have since put about 10-15 miles on these on trails of various types and feel that they fit my needs quite well. The soles grip well and they are comfortable. The things that I wish were different is that they only have one open lace hook; I think 2 would be better. I also think that the tongue is a little short. This seems to be the trend on most mid shoes now. I don't know why. With a short tongue, the knot often rides above the tongue and presses on the front of the ankle. This can be uncomfortable. I think if the tongue was even a half inch longer, it would alleviate this problem.

Supremely comfortable hiking boot
Very comfortable hiking boot. They feel very lightweight, almost like more of a shoe than a boot. Perfect for hiking here in Florida. The fit for me was true to size, and they were amazing right out of the box. Put them on, got on the trail, and hiked three and a half miles and couldn't even tell because my feet were so comfortable! These boots are great for ALL types of terrain. They can handle it all, no matter what climate or landscape you are exploring. I highly recommend these boots.

Hoped For Better
They are wearable on a day to day basis but it’s nothing that I would go out of my way to buy again or recommend. If I could go back in time to tell myself not to buy these then I would. Not because they’re bad but because they are underwhelming.

Great shoes for all your outdoor fun
Use these for hiking and when taking out our ATVs. As with all my previous Moab 3s, they are comfortable right out of the box, keep my feet dry, and I have no doubt they will prove to be long-lasting. Moab 3s are awesome go-to shoes for outdoor activities.
