Size is not too big, not too small. It’s exactly normal size for every household. Quality is very good, nice piece of art. And it’s very practical. The stone is in black. I love it very much.

beautiful but too small

Really pretty. But disappointed in the accuracy of the dimensions.The flat part (marble stone) where the cake sits is a little over 9 inches. I have 9 inch cake pans, and this definitely will not work for me. Sadly, it's going back.

Beautiful cake stand

The cake stand is very well made. I love the flowers on the sides. The glass dome is not a clear glass and has minor bubbles and that is because it is hand blown. I don't mind the imperfections, but others may. All in all, I recommend this stand. I will be using it as a cheese plate in addition to a cake stand.
