Beautiful easel, but frame is not 8x10

Truthfully, I bought this item for the easel, to display a plate. And it looks GREAT. But the picture frame itself is for a 4x6 picture - not an 8x10. Since the easel is exactly what I wanted this is not an issue. But I wonder if the description as an 8x10 frame is truly accurate.

small frame but this is what they wanted

I bought the 2x3 frame from a wedding registry. it is tiny, not my taste, but this is what they wanted so i'm happy with the purchsae. i'd go for the bigger frame myself, not sure what you put in here.
