We are using this china for our everyday dishes. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. We have beautiful Lalique china but hardly ever use because it is not dishwasher or microwave safe. We enjoy the quality ,uniqueness ,and beauty of this product while being practical for its easy cleanup and heating usage.The colorful design brings a smile to our faces each day we use them. It is so much fun using colorful serving pieces to compliment the dishes. The table looks amazing and professionally done. We have received numerous compliments on the dining ware and feel the investment was well worth the purchase. We take pride in our cooking and gives us great pleasure to serve our family and guests in this china that will lasts for years. We find if we invest in something that we love it is well worth the expense because we tend to use them longer and do not want to replace. If we purchase something mediocre we tend to replace it when we find something better or like more. Its truly a joy using this serving ware each and everyday! Michael Aram also includes gorgeous serving pieces to go with your china ware. It certainly makes our holiday shopping easier adding year to year a piece of art to this collection.

The plate has a MUCH softer "orange", the twigs are a grey green, not grey. It's much prettier than is displayed on my screen. VERY satisfied.
