The Michael Aram Cast Iron Collection takes its inspiration from the uniquely striking textures created by the iron forging process. Random and abrupt yet exquisitely tactile, this pattern depicts the spirit seen in so much of Michael's metalwork. The design is also carefully crafted in terms of color and surface detail to integrate perfectly with any of Michael's other dinnerware patterns. The unified body shapes used in all of the motifs makes mixing and matching the patterns a seamless proposition. "My love for texture is profoundly expressed in this pattern. Cast iron is the most elemental material yet the surface has always held such fascination for me. I find it gruff and even gently abrasive. I love the idea of bringing that inspiration into a Limoges dinnerware pattern, releasing all the formal constraints we usually associate with that world."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad these are still in stock. My daughter had them on her wedding registry a couple of years ago and I'm slowly finishing her set for her. They are very pretty and she just loves them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this set and ordered the bowl for pasta. I have smaller bowls but they are too small to serve pasta in. Unfortunately, these bowls are very shallow as trim takes up alot of room and they will also only hold small portion of pasta. I kept them but very disappointed in size. Otherwise I love the set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bowl looks deceivingly large in the picture but it is actually rather small so make sure to look at the dimensions before you purchase! It's great otherwise.
do not buy this product. they chip and break very easily. does not compare to other expensive dinner plates. Worst buy!!
I love these Michael Aram plates! They are sleek and contemporary and can be for every day or fancy dinner parties! They look great paired with the botanical leaf or black orchid salad plates.
I love this product because it's modern but timeless. It's a beautiful set that adds so much character to the table and the textured gray adds a little extra too! Great surface area and a sharp white. I would definitely recommend.
My daughter recently was married and Michael Aram's Cast Iron Dinnerware was on her bridal registry. She was so thrilled to receive the final pieces needed to complete the set!
