The inspiration for Wildflowers came from the discovery of a set of 19th century hand-tinted, botanical illustrations which, over time, had faded to muted, dusty tones. Touched by how beautifully each wildflower had been rendered in the antique drawings, designer Michael Aram took great care to capture and recreate the naturalistic movement and gentle hues in hand-enameled and sculpted metal.  Uncultivated by definition, wildflowers, as interpreted by Aram, reflect the ideal of "perfectly imperfect" and capture a sense of carefree innocence in the fleeting joyfulness of nature.

BEAUTIFUL!

I purchased this for a gift for someone who loves flowers. When I opened the famous black box to examine it prior to gifting, I was absolutely so pleased by the beauty of this frame. The picture on the website does not do it justice. The recipient loved it! You can never go wrong with Michael Aram, his pieces are timeless and of high quality. Beautiful! And Macy's delivered right on time for this event.

Broken picture frame.

I ordered it and the glass was broken and one of the flowers came off. I returned it to the store.

Beautiful Frame

This frame is absolutely beautiful. The quality is top notch, especially after reading the brochure where it describes how each one is hand made. It is expensive but worth every penny for your most cherished photos. I will be buying more from this designer.
