On line purchase

I bought this Michael Kors T shirt in both navy blue and white in the same size XL. The navy blue T shirt was tight and uncomfortable so I had to return it. The white T shirt fit perfectly. Not sure if it’s a manufacturing issue or a quality control issue by Michael Kors but one would think same T shirt, same size, that it would fit the same. I guess buying on line I should purchase multiple sizes, but it’s an extra step having to return the ones that don’t fit.
