A Solid Choice for Fans of Bold Scents Impression: I’ve been testing Michael Kors Pour Femme Absolu for a while now. My first thought was that it’s definitely a "statement" perfume. It feels more mature and heavy than the average floral scent, which I personally like for evenings or colder weather. Aroma: It starts off quite strong with a fruity kick, but it settles down into a warm, woody floral. To me, the jasmine is the most noticeable part, but the vanilla base keeps it from being too sharp. It’s sweet, but in a sophisticated, "dark" way rather than a sugary way. The "Burn" (Sillage): The projection (the "burn") is quite intense at first. People will definitely notice you’ve entered the room. After about an hour, it softens and stays closer to the skin, creating a nice, warm aura. Longevity: The longevity is where this perfume really wins. It lasts a good 7–8 hours on my skin. If I spray it on a sweater, I can still smell it the next day. You don't need to reapply it throughout the day, which is a big plus for the price. Consistency: The scent is very consistent. It doesn't have that "chemical" smell that some designers have when they first hit the skin. From the first spray to the dry-down, it feels well-blended and stays true to its notes. Final thoughts: It might be a bit too heavy if you prefer light, fresh scents, but if you like something bold and long-lasting, it’s worth a try.
