Runs big, size way down

These pants are gorgeous but run extremely big. I’m a 41” waist and usually wear fit a size 20. I purchased these in a 20 & an 18 to be sure I had the right fit BUT they were both too big. Ordered again (16 & 14) and was quite surprised when the 14s fit beautifully. Width and length were perfect to wear with a low heel.
