Never had any issues with tall boots due to my very narrow feet and ankles, but I couldn't even pull these boots on or get my foot into the boot! Not sure if I received a defective pair....
Beautiful Boots
I think the boots are great if you have a more narrow foot and slim ankle. After I read the first review, I was concerned about the fit. The boots fit me well and they are beautiful.
Beautiful boot but runs too small
I ordered these boots on Macys.com in size 8 (I've started wearing 8 from 7.5 recently) and they came quickly and are very beautiful, classy and can be worn dressy or casual. I wasn't able to even stick my foot down in them. I went to a Macy's store to try on larger ones but they were not in the store and sadly I had to return them. I went to the MK store at the mall and tried them on in larger sizes and they all run super small around the ankle/knee area and the boot ended up scrunching rather having the sleek, tall look on the photo. Granted, I was wearing black skinny pants, but I have always had small lower legs and calves. The sales girl at MK was curious and tried on a pair one size bigger than her regular shoe size and they fit her well. She was wearing a dress and was a young, thin and tall girl. They looked perfect on her. Maybe these boots fit better on bare legs but I was specifically buying them to wear over skinny jeans/pants so they did not work for me. Had there been a zipper maybe they'd fit me better.
