Fits Amazingly
Great fit. I’m 5’6” 140 lbs ordered a Medium. This dress has enough stretch to fit over your head and is a few inches above the knees. My only concern is that the fabric is somewhat thin. Perfect for someone living in a warmer winter climate.
Stunning color!
I bought this in red and the color is divine! A stunning garnet red set off beautifully by the black snake-skin print. The dress has a drop-waist bodice, with two full ruffles making up the skirt. My one problem (thus why it is 4-stars and not 5-stars) is that the top ruffle is sewn on asymmetrically - lower in the back and higher in the front. This resulted in the front seam cutting directly across my naval and leaving the side-seams to rest upon the widest portion of my hips; the bodice of the dress simply would not lay flat no matter what I did. I was packing up the dress to return it when I thought to try it on BACKWARDS - I have a slight swayback and a long torso, so the higher seam would work better in back and the lower seam would work better in front. While it's not 100% perfect - the neckline in back is higher than in front, and the MK charm is sewn to the back of the neckline (I may remove it) - it wears well this way and the fabric sits flat and fluid instead of creasing.
Beautiful Dress
Dress is beautiful. It runs a little smaller in hips than my experience with Michael Kors. I ordered another one in a larger size. I am normally a 4 in a dress so I ordered a small, but trying the PM to see if it works better.
