smells awful

The belt is actually very nice quality. The only draw back is the horrible chemical smell. I hung it up in my closet; later in the day my whole bedroom smelled horrible and I realized it was the belt. It has been sitting outside in the air for several weeks now and still has a strong order. I've read sometimes it takes a few months for the smell to go away especially when a company is uses low grade chemicals oils in the tanning process
