flattering fit for plus sizw

i love everything about this coat. The only one little thing is that the snaps on the arms don't hold very well. other than that, the fit is great I have gotten many comments about the coat.

If you have pets or anything that sheds

Love the coat - but NOT a good material for ppl who have pets. EVERYTHING clilngs to this coat and impossible to get off. Too bad - it's really a nice coat!

Poor Quality

I kept this and regret it. The fabric is cheep and the hood does not stay on.

Perfect

This coat is lovely. It's actually a plus size coat and you can wear more than a T-shirt under it. Very classic styling. Two thumbs up for me.

Gold hardware is perfect accent on black coat!

This is such a nice coat and I'm so glad I decided to purchase it! I would say the sizing runs big for sure.. I am a size 1x or 2x depending on the brand, I am 5ft 6in tall and 205lbs. According to the size chart for this coat I should order a 2x but so many reviews said the sizing ran big and to go down 1 size. I decided to go with a size 1x mainly because I saw a review saying the sleeves were made too small and because I wanted to make sure I could wear hoodies and sweaters comfortably underneath the coat. Well, I should have just ordered an XL instead of the 1x because I definitely have more room than I need in the arm, length, & waist area with the 1x and I know for sure the XL would have fit me perfectly. Now having said that, I did not return 1x because I am ok with having my coat be a little big & baggy and I didnt want to wait another week or two to return and have another sent out to me. I was too excited to wear it! This is the nicest coat I have ever owned!

Sleeves are too short

I sized up because I planned on wearing heavy sweaters with this coat, but the sleeves are way too short and the coat itself is very heavy especially for this 70 year old body. So disappointed.

New Coat

It fits well and I purchased a red one. Love it! It is warm and looks great. It is attractive as anything Michael Kohrs does.

Finally one that fits: 2x

Finally found a coat that fits after too many returns. They either fit my arm size and too big in the body or visa- versa. I'm 5'5", wieght 225, and arm size is 19", why do they make clothes that have such skinny upper arms, for plus sizes. I have this problem with most tops. Maybe they could put arm size diameter along with the rest of the measurements so people wouldn't have to keep returning things. This coat is warm and comfortable, not too heavy. The contrasting gold metal zipper is attractive against the black. Happily it is very slimming. I would suggest to buy.
