Glaze is Terrible

I had previously purchased 2 sets of these dishes and they lasted for years. I decided to repurchase 3 sets of the exact same type because I loved them so much. Well, they cheapened the glaze and now one year later my plates feel and look horrible. I will never purchase Mikasa again.

Absolutely do not purchase!

This set, while beautiful, either was missing the shiny finish on some pieces (appeared matte) or it has “washed off” all together. I did not purchase these on sale and bought two sets, to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I don’t even think they have been used for two full months and will have to be replaced. I’m sad Macy’s carries products that are such low quality now.

Not as good

The cups and saucers are different from the ones I purchased years ago in that the design on the rims and sides of both are not as well-defined.

Perfect for many occasions.

Just pretty dishes. Will be able to add a variety of side pieces if I decide to do that. Light weight yet sturdy. Bowls and mugs are nicely sized. Can be used for everyday or special occasions.

Happy purchaser

Love it and was packed great but one bowl did come broken. Bowls are a great size for soup, salad, chili, dips, a lot of uses!! I love the neutral color because you can accent with any color runner, flowers, napkins..... I used purple and everybody commented how nice everything looked!! Totally happy with my purchase.
