I love mikasa dishes, but they are slightly different from the dishes i bought years ago in the same pattern

Not the same quality
It doesn’t have the quality and looks of my Antique white china. It chips very very easily and even created a green mold ring on the bottom of the bowls. Already out of my cabinet and in the garbage can.

Poor Quality
Love the smaller bowls for salads but they are not made of the same material as my other dishes in the Antique White collection. Wish they were more durable - they chip very easily.

Perfect, but....
The first time set was used got a big chip in the serving bowl. Definitely not chip resistant! Wish they were available in the same dishwasher safe, microwave safe and chip resistant high quality porcelain as the dinnerware. Mikasa should recognize how this is very poor quality reflects on their brand and and correct the problem.

Huge!
The pasta serving bowl is about the biggest I have ever seen. Definitely room for pasta, meatballs, whatever Italian family dinner you want to serve. The individual bowls are the perfect size. I bought them for small vegetable dishes since there are only two of us eating now. I still set and serve my table family style.

Pasta set - chips, crackle in glaze, mold
Have had 2 sets. Earthenware Chips easily. Glaze is crackled and black mold grows in cranks and on bottom. Would not recommend.

Not Porcelain, darker and heavier, chip easily
I bought this set thinking it was the same quality as the other antique white pieces. It is not. Very disappointed. Chipped immediately. Not as pretty. Very heavy and seem cheap.

In love with them.
Love them. Look nicer in person. Although I was expecting them to be Mikassa brand, but I still enjoy them.
