I was excited to see Mikasa's Antique White reappear, but these bowls are not the original Ultima quality. They are thicker and the pattern on the edge is less distinct.

Total crap!!! These are not the same dishes as my wedding dishes 15 years ago, do not try to pass them off as if they are! Much thicker, total lack of edging and scallop detail. Hard to believe these are made by Mikasa, super cheap feel. Not even the same marking on the back of the plates. I just opened the box and I am outside of the 30 day return window, I should not have trusted Macy's to be honest and deliver what they promised.

The Mikasa Antique White dinnerware has the look and feel of elegant China. The ability to use these dishes for your formal best or your everyday dining adds a flexibility that cannot always be found in bone China. The other very positive factor I’ve noticed is all of the bottoms of the dishes are finished with a porcelain surface meaning no scratches to furniture sensitive countertop surfaces. Perfect!

Very nice dishware. The plates and soup bowls were a good size. I wish the coffee cups were a bit larger but they will do.

I am in love with this pattern! I didn’t want an all matching set and I’m glad that I can purchase certain pieces separately! I already purchased the bread and butter plates, added them to my antique white plates! Made for a lovely place setting.
