Love these extra large soup/cereal

Love these extra large soup/cereal bowls. I had the rimmed soup bowls already but ordered these because of their size. When I'm cooking just for two, I can use them for serving.

Not original French Countryside Bowls

I purchased these bowls to replace a few chipped/broken bowls. While they claim to be French Countryside, they are not the same size or thickness. These are not replacements for the previous French Countryside offering.

I actually like the style

I actually like the style of these bowls and was excited to receive them along with several other pieces from the French Countryside collection I had ordered to replace or add to my set I've had for over 40 years. I have most of the original pieces and they have been used regularly all that time, so I can attest to the durability of the product. I have ordered additional pieces in the past and found them to be a perfect match. However, I was extremely disappointed in this recent purchase as the color has changed significantly enough that I cannot pair them with my other pieces. The older ones are more white, but the new ones are much more ivory or yellow. If you are looking to match your old set, be aware that these will not be a close color match.
