Love this pattern
I bought this pattern years ago. Lately I found that I needed additional placesettings. I was pleasantly surprised that they were available. I was so happy to hear that. I get so many compliments when I use them.

Beautiful set of dishes!
These really are beautiful dishes. Lovely ivory color. I ordered an eight place set. Love the square look and the different textures add interest. So easy to change your napkin or placemat color to enhance your table look. I ordered the vegetable bowls and fruit bowls to complete the set. Macy's delivery was excellent and everything arrived in good order and on time.
Not my fav
Love the modern shape of this Mikasa set, however when I received them they looked more old fashioned with the matte finish and not very modern at all. Also not very white at all. High hopes but not what I was after.

Awesome dishes
It took me a long time to find the "right" set of dishes. I think these are nice enough for a dinner party, yet sturdy enough for regular use. I started collecting this set three years ago and the original dishes still look 99% like new. They are heavy, almost but not quite like stoneware - which I originally thought I wanted. The odd thing... the large square plate is VERY large (not too good for keeping portion size under control) and the small square plates are rather small. I think the bowls are the perfect size, and I like the square/round combination design. And the mugs are slightly tall, which makes them perfect for ice cream, small sundaes, etc.

Fantastic
Gorgeous and contemporary. The set is, so far after three weeks, holding up well to our beating and stone counters. It does not get excessively hot in the microwave and is cleaning nicely in the dishwasher and by hand. My husband, who is completely indifferent on items of home decor is "quite smitten with our new dinnerware" -so there you go.
