Very disappointed

Bought 3 set of flatware this flatware in the Tortoise color in Jan. 2012 from Macys. Over 50% have rusted in the band that connects the handle to the utensil. Called Makasa and was told them can not replace them because it was discontinued. (So much for their warrantee!!) I imagine it was discontinued because of the poor quality. So I would be very leery of buying this color. Also, the box said 18/10 stainless but the utenisils are stamped 18. I do not blame Macy in the slightest.
