New plates of same set a different size and weight

I have had this set for 4 years. I ordered a new set to replace broken plates. I was very disappointed to find the new ones were larger and much heavier which is hard on my wrists. Consistency would have been nice

Mikasa French Countryside Collection

The set arrived at my local Macy's and was well packaged. I have had the Mikasa French Countryside for years and it was time to update and replace some dishes. This set is great for casual as well as formal dinner. These are a bit heavier than my last set. Macy's had the best price too.

Same pattern for 20 years

I’ve had this pattern for nearly 20 years and though I’ve had to replace it several times, it’s fairly durable and I think it’s a timeless design.

Different color

Had to return as they did not match my existing plates.

Mikasa French Countryside plates don’t match

The color of the new plates doesn’t match the color of my existing plates. They are the same make butt. The new ones are not as white. Also, one of the cups came with a small dark mark on it. I can’t be bothered with returning one mug.

Great addition to my kitchen decor!

I love the fact that I can use them with many different colors of napkins, placemats, etc. They do not appear to chip easily.
