Collection arrived and dishes are broken.

Very disappointed with the collection, open the first box and the dishes are broken.

Love my new dishes!

I love to eat with these beautiful dishes. They clean up well. Only bad thing is that a few of the plates came broken.

Not the same ! I purchased a second set this year to add to another set from 2 years ago . The color is off white and just not the same in size . The newer set is a pinch smaller ! So disappointed . These are going back !!!!

Arrived Promptly & No Broken Items

I was very pleased with Macy’s prompt delivery that included the entire set in tact. The Italian Countryside by Mikasa was even more attractive and classic than in the online pictures.

Lovely set - practical and elegant.

I have not had the same experience as Erin. We use the entire place setting at special occasion meals and use fiestaware for everyday. Two soup ladles fit in the soup bowl. Easy to cleanup too since they are dishwasher safe. The look is casually elegant. The pattern is unobtrusive. We use the coffee cups too. Maybe Mikasa thought mugs are too casual, but that's what most people use for coffee today. We bought a second service for larger parties and love the practical but slightly fancy look .

Pretty but not very useful

Lovely set. Not very practical. Coffee cups are more the size of tea cups for tea time that come with saucers. Soup bowls aren’t useful unless you’re eating about 2 tablespoons of soup at a time. We are really only able to use the dinner plates and salad plates.

Elegant dishes.

I love these dishes. They are so pretty. I have been eyeing these dishes for years but I was always hesitant about buying them after reading a lot of the reviews about black marks on the dishes and that some arrived broken. My dishes had no black spots on them and none were broken. I have not used them yet. They will be used for special occasions as I always have the family at my house for Christmas, etc. I know a cousin who has these dishes and I asked her for her opinion of them. She said she loves them so that's why I finally decided to buy. I got a great price for the Christmas in July sale so I am glad I waited.
