Uber cute but odd fit for me

I’m 5’1 - 130 lbs - 26” waist, and I ordered a small. On me, the top portion fits great albeit a little lower neckline but I liked it. the bottom fit smaller. I was unable to wear the mid part at my natural waist line without showing some rear. I was hoping to wear this out and about. I dunno if a medium will work as it may run too big at top. a las, a return :(

I love it! its so comfy. It fits nice and relaxed. I'm 5'7" I ordered a medium and it fit great.
