Towel Warmer

The towel warmer is easy to use but instructions are too vague. Seems the DELAY function is unnecessary. What is purpose of DELAY setting? I belive it's for setting warmer to turn a specific number of hours into future but who knows exactly when they'll be taking a shower? I typically know the general when I'll be taking a shower for example in the morning but not the time. Items don't stay warm ver long.
